GCodeSimulator visualizes 3D printing gcodes and simulates the 3D print. It provides a preview of your print, giving you the opportunity to review it in advance to identify and rectify errors, thereby preventing filament wastage. Moreover, GCodeSimulator can establish connections with numerous 3D printers using a USB-OTG cable or Bluetooth to enable printer control. The printer control panel offers essential controls for manual operations, such as XYZ movement, transforming any Android tablet or phone into a touch screen interface for your 3D printer.

⚠ Remarks and Limitations

To establish a connection with a printer, an Android device with USB-OTG support and a USB-OTG adapter are required. Gcodes generated by Slic3r, Simplify3d, and Skeinforge have been tested successfully. For local file loading or Dropbox integration, an Android file manager like ES File Explorer must be installed. Note that only gcode simulation is supported due to MakerBot's S3G proprietary protocol.

Tip: Use GCodeSimulator on your PC to transfer files directly to your Android tablet for printing.
